# Scoring reference > The tables, at a glance: the five category weights, the SuperSchema Score bands, the full letter-grade ladder, and the schema quality score tiers. For the concepts behind them, see "How scoring works" and "Understanding your scores." *Category: Reference · Last updated: 2026-07-07* --- This is the at-a-glance reference for every number in SuperSchema’s scoring. For what these mean and how they move, see "How scoring works" and "Understanding your scores." ### The three scores | Score | Scale | What it measures | | --- | --- | --- | | Schema quality score | 0 to 100 | Completeness and quality depth of one generated schema | | SuperSchema Score | 0 to 100 | Site AI-visibility across five weighted categories | | Citation Score | % of answers | Share of tested AI answers that cite your domain | ### SuperSchema Score: category weights | Category | Weight | Checks | | --- | --- | --- | | Access | 15% | robots.txt allows AI bots · no noindex blocking · pages load without JavaScript | | Content | 25% | word count over 300 · good text-to-HTML ratio · meaningful paragraphs | | Structure | 15% | proper H1 heading · logical heading order · lists and tables for data | | Schema | 25% | valid JSON-LD present · relevant schema types · complete required fields | | Alternate | 20% | Markdown version available · plain text alternative · files are accessible | ### SuperSchema Score: bands | Score | Band | | --- | --- | | 96 to 100 | Super | | 80 to 95 | Good | | 60 to 79 | Fair | | 40 to 59 | Needs Work | | 0 to 39 | Critical | ### SuperSchema Score: letter grades | Score | Grade | Label | | --- | --- | --- | | 97 to 100 | A+ | Elite | | 93 to 96 | A | Excellent | | 90 to 92 | A- | Great | | 87 to 89 | B+ | Good | | 83 to 86 | B | Above Average | | 80 to 82 | B- | Fair | | 77 to 79 | C+ | Needs Work | | 73 to 76 | C | Below Average | | 70 to 72 | C- | Poor | | 60 to 69 | D | Critical Issues | | 0 to 59 | F | Major Problems | ### Schema quality score: tiers | Score | Rating | | --- | --- | | 90 to 100 | Excellent (A range) | | 75 to 89 | Good (B range) | | 60 to 74 | Fair (C to D range) | | 0 to 59 | Needs Improvement (F) | > **Note:** You can refine each schema up to two times for free, which typically adds points on the Quality Depth side. Aim for a strong, realistic schema score (roughly 80 and up) on important pages rather than perfection everywhere. ### What to aim for - SuperSchema Score: reaching Good (80 to 95) already puts you ahead of most sites; 95 and up triggers the "AI Visibility Champion!" celebration. - Schema quality score: 80 or higher on the pages that matter most. - Citation Score: higher is better, and it tends to rise as your SuperSchema Score improves. > **Note:** The in-app report is always the source of truth for a given page or domain. These tables describe how the numbers are bucketed, not a promise about any specific site. ## Questions this answers - What are the category weights for the SuperSchema Score? - What are the SuperSchema Score bands? - What is the full letter-grade table? - What are the schema quality score tiers? - What are the three scores at a glance? - What score should I aim for? ## Related - https://superschema.ai/docs/how-scoring-works - https://superschema.ai/docs/understanding-your-scores - https://superschema.ai/docs/your-superschema-score - https://superschema.ai/docs/schema-quality-and-refinement
