You can create a SuperSchema account with an email address and password, or with a social login, whichever you prefer. Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider (Clerk), so your password and login details are managed securely on their end and never stored by SuperSchema directly. The first time you sign in, your workspace is set up automatically, so you can start scanning and generating schema right away.
Creating an account #
- Go to the sign-up page (from the site header, or you are sent there after a free scan).
- Choose how to sign up: enter an email address and a password, or pick one of the social login buttons shown on the form.
- If you signed up with email, confirm your address using the verification prompt so we know the inbox is really yours.
- You land in your dashboard with your workspace already created. No credit card is required to start.
Signing back in #
- Go to the sign-in page.
- Enter the email and password you signed up with, or use the same social login you chose the first time.
- You are returned to your dashboard, or to whatever you were trying to reach (for example, a scan you were claiming or a checkout you started).
Email verification #
When you sign up with an email address, you are asked to verify it. This is a one-time check that confirms you own the inbox and helps keep your account secure. Follow the prompt on screen (usually entering a code sent to your email). Social logins are already verified by the provider, so there is no separate step.
Forgot your password? #
On the sign-in form, use the option to reset your password. You will be guided through confirming your email and setting a new password. If you originally signed up with a social login, there is no password to reset: just use that social login button again.
What happens the first time you sign in #
- Your personal workspace is created automatically, so you have somewhere to save domains, pages, and generated schema.
- Your name and email are pulled from your sign-in details and shown in your account settings.
- If you came from a free site scan, claiming it attaches that report and the business context we already detected to your new account.
Signing out #
You can sign out from the account menu in the app. Signing out only ends your session on that device; it does not delete anything. To permanently remove your account and data, see deleting your account.
