SuperSchema is more than schema generation. It is a continuous loop that keeps AI systems reading the right facts about your business as your website changes. The loop has six stages: Scan, Structure, Deploy, Verify, Watch, and Monitor. A one-time Audit is an optional deep dive you can add at any point. You do not have to use every stage, but here is the full picture and which article covers each part.
The loop at a glance #
| Stage | What it does | Where to read more |
|---|---|---|
| Scan | Measures how well AI understands your site today and gives you a SuperSchema Score. | Running a free scan |
| Structure | Generates the schema markup and AI-readable .md and .txt files AI relies on. | Schema generation |
| Deploy | Gets those files onto your live pages by copy-paste or one-click to HubSpot. | Deployment options overview |
| Verify | Confirms your schema and AI-readable files are actually live on the page. | How verification works |
| Watch | Tracks which AI bots crawl you and whether AI answers recommend you. | Bot tracking and citation tracking |
| Monitor | Re-checks pages on a schedule and flags changes that make signals go stale. | What monitoring does |
Stage by stage #
- Scan
- Measure how well AI understands your site right now. A free Site Scan reads a sample of your key pages the way an AI crawler would and returns your SuperSchema Score, a 0 to 100 read across five categories: Access, Content, Structure, Schema, and Alternate (AI-readable files). This is where you find out what is helping and hurting you before you touch anything.
- Structure
- Build what AI needs. SuperSchema auto-generates the schema markup (JSON-LD) and the AI-readable .md and .txt versions of your content for the pages you choose. The right schema types are detected from your content, so you are not guessing which ones to use.
- Deploy
- Get it onto your live pages. You can copy-paste the generated code into your page head, or connect HubSpot and deploy with one click. Deploying puts the files in place so AI crawlers can read them.
- Verify
- Confirm it is actually live. Deploying is not the same as being live: a republish can silently drop your schema, or a paste can land in the wrong place. Verification re-reads the live page and confirms your schema and AI-readable files are really there before the page counts as done.
- Watch
- See what AI is doing. Bot tracking shows which AI crawlers, like GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, and Google-Extended, are visiting your pages and how often. Citation tracking runs real customer-style questions through AI assistants and measures how often your business shows up in the answers.
- Monitor
- Keep it accurate over time. Once a page is verified, monitoring saves a baseline and re-checks the page on a schedule (weekly or daily by plan). When something meaningful changes, like schema getting dropped, pricing moving, or a page going stale, it raises a change event so you can fix it before AI reads the wrong facts.
The optional Audit #
A SuperSchema Audit is a one-time, expert-delivered deep dive that you can add at any point in the loop. Where a free Site Scan is a fast automated read of a sample of pages, an Audit is a thorough diagnostic that finds the biggest gaps between what your site says and what AI can reliably understand, then hands you a prioritized fix plan (a Decision Pack). Many teams scan first, then commission an Audit when they want a scoped plan of what to fix and in what order.
Why it is a loop, not a one-time fix #
Websites change constantly. Someone edits a page, a template update drops your schema, a price moves, a page starts returning an error. Any of those can quietly leave AI reading stale or wrong facts about you. Scanning and structuring once gets you clean signals today. Watching and monitoring keep them clean tomorrow, which is what actually protects how AI represents and recommends you over time.
